Water Filter Taps
Filtered drinking water at the kitchen sink, from a slim dedicated tap or a three-way mixer, fed by an under-sink or reverse osmosis system.
How we approach water filter taps
A filter tap gives filtered drinking water at the kitchen sink without changing the main mixer. Options range from a small dedicated tap beside the sink to a three-way mixer, which delivers hot, cold and filtered water from one spout through separate internal channels.
The tap is only as good as the filter feeding it, so we match it to an under-sink or reverse osmosis system and check that the sink or worktop has room for an extra hole if one is needed.
What to check before buying
Choosing a filter tap for your kitchen.
Dedicated tap
A compact filtered-water tap beside the main mixer.
Three-way mixer
Hot, cold and filtered water from one spout, kept separate inside.
Matched to the filter
The tap is paired with the under-sink or RO system behind it.
FAQs
Questions before we quote
What is a three-way tap?
A kitchen mixer with a separate internal channel for filtered water, so hot, cold and filtered water come from one spout without mixing.
Do I need to drill a hole for a filter tap?
For a dedicated tap, usually yes, unless the sink already has a spare tap hole. A three-way mixer replaces the existing mixer, so no extra hole is needed.
Can a filter tap be used with reverse osmosis?
Yes. Reverse osmosis needs a dedicated tap or an RO-compatible three-way mixer because of its lower flow rate.
